Who we are

Acquire Innovation is a strategy consulting firm operating in Canada and the United States. This policy covers the information collected through this website. If you engage us for consulting or immigration work, the engagement letter for that work governs the information you share with us there.

What we collect

We collect only what you type into an enquiry form on this site: your name, email address, phone number, subject and message. Nothing else on this site asks you for personal information, and we do not ask for financial details, passport numbers or immigration file information through this website.

Your browser also sends our host standard technical information — IP address, browser type and the page requested — which is recorded in ordinary server logs.

Why we collect it

To answer your enquiry, and to contact you about the consulting or immigration services you asked about. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Fonts are served from our own server rather than a third party, so loading a page does not disclose your visit to an external font provider. If web analytics are enabled in future, this section will be updated before they go live.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept only as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of the correspondence, and are then deleted. Where we go on to act for you, records are retained for the period required by our professional and legal obligations.

Your choices

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@acquireinnovation.com and we will respond. If you are dissatisfied with our response, you may raise the matter with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Security

Form submissions are sent over an encrypted connection. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive documents through the enquiry form — we will tell you how to send those safely once we are in contact.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
